Illustration Design process
I’ll send a Design Brief Form in which I’ll collect your requirements for the Illustration like art dimensions, colour palette, description of the illustration and photo references if any.
Based on the information given in the Design Brief and during the Discovery call, I’ll sketch an initial draft (just a rough sketch without colour) and send to you for review.
You’ll have two revision stages to review the illustration. The first will be to review the inital sketch and the second will be after colour implementation.
Details like light, shadow and other small details will be added in this stage to complete the illustration once you’ve approved the coloured sketch. You’ll then receive the illustration in the formats you need.
For illustrations, you’ll receive them as JPG and PDF files. These should cover anything you might need for both digital and printing purposes.
Most of our communication will be through a client portal that allows you and I to access all project information, see uploaded project presentations and feedback, as well as email.
Occasionally, we’ll meet face-to-face on scheduled Zoom calls.
Every illustration project has a different scope and different goals so I don’t have one size-fits-all pricing. I can only determine the cost after the discovery call.
Via PayPal for international clients and Interac e-transfers for my Canadian clients.
Yes I do! Thanks to technology, I’m able to work with clients across Canada and the globe with ease. Just make sure you mention where you’re based at so I can keep the time difference in mind.
